Welcome to 2018! Yes, yes, we know it’s March…
Sorry we’re a little late. Things have been a little busy over here at Solopress HQ, so our blog has been a bit neglected.
But we’re back, and ready to catch you up with all the exciting things we’ve been up to!
What’s new?
It’s been less than a year since we teamed up with Onlineprinters, but it’s been a really positive start. We’ve already reached new targets and sets new company records and continue to go from strength to strength, positioning ourselves as a fast-growing, innovative, market leader in the UK.
The acquisition has allowed us to reduce costs thanks to joint purchasing of things like paper, ink and printing plates. We pass these savings on to you, our lovely customers, so you know you’re always getting the very best price.
The recent changes have also enabled us to implement new services, lower prices and introduce new products. So far this year, we introduced more new products than we ever have! These include envelopes, L banners, black roller banner bases, sticker rolls, beer mats, exhibition stands, pens, flags and NCR pads. More products including USB sticks, sweets, stamps, paper bags, cups, magnetic boards and so much more are coming soon.
We’ve also recently introduced longer lead times on many of our products, so you can opt for one, two, or three-day turnarounds with the price lowering accordingly. So, if you can wait a few days for your print, you save even more. You’ve also now got up to 5pm to order for next day delivery on a range of products.
Things are shaking up internally, too
Our team is growing as we seek new talent to help shape the Solopress of tomorrow. We’re recruiting for several roles across the business, so if you want to join us, visit our Vacancies page and get in touch.
We’ve recently moved next door to our former HQ in Stock Road in Southend. Our creative, admin, sales and HR teams now sit in our brand new Site 3, which has been recently refurbished into a great new office space. Our original HQ, Site 1, is now being used exclusively for production. Site 2, a short walk around the corner, will remain as our finishing and dispatch centre.
So we’ve been pretty busy over here and look forward to all of the exciting things the next part of 2018 will bring us.
