At Carbs & Cals we’re committed to making our products available to everyone who needs them. With this in mind, when we launched the company in March 2010 we decided to design a range of free flyers and leaflets, bookmarks and posters for hospitals, schools, diabetes centres and health professionals. Health Events

We attend several health events each year, including conferences on diabetes and nutrition.  In March 2012, we’ll be exhibiting at our first major consumer event, the Vitality Show at Earls Court 2 in London. The promotional materials Solopress print for us always go down extremely well at such events and with 35,000 visitors expected to attend the Vitality Show over four days, these support tools will be play a key role in our branding and in spreading the word about the benefits of our products.  We’ll also be offering visitors free two-minute consultations to calculate their personal calorie and nutrient requirements, along with a BMI check. The special branded forms we’ll be using in this process will be printed by Solopress.

The Perfect Match

As a young and dynamic company, we’re always thinking of new ways to help people with diabetes and those following weight loss and healthy eating programmes. Our aim in 2012 is to help more and more people in a wide range of countries where diabetes is particularly prevalent by making our products available in multiple languages. This month will mark the launch of a Portuguese edition of our Carbs & Cals book and app and we’ll be using the services of Solopress to print a supporting flyer in Portuguese, which we’ll send out free of charge to diabetes centres and healthcare professionals, both in Portugal and in areas of the UK where there is a local Portuguese community. Solopress’ response times and attention to detail are the perfect match for us as they enable us to deliver new support materials quickly and efficiently to our market.

  1. This is a fantastic idea, as someone whom has recently been diagnosed with diabetes it is hard to keep record of everything when it is all so new.
