Solopress prints 1,000 brochures for the 12th annual Cafe Rene Rhythm & Blues Festival in aid of McMillan Cancer Support.
The 12th annual Rhythm & Blues Festival kicked off on Monday 28th July and continues until 3rd August 2014. The friendly pub is located in Greyfriars, Gloucester and the week-long event is packed full of class acts – all performing on the outdoor amphitheatre stage.
When the pub is not hosting week-long festivals, they are entertaining the locals with two live music acts each week and host three other music festivals throughout the year. The Cafe Rene Rhythm & Blues festival made history when Ainsley Lister and Laurence Jones featured as the headline acts – performing a heart-warming rendition of Purple Rain.
The event attracts thousands of visitors each year to Gloucester City and has become a date in the diary for the locals.
The festival beats funds raised year on year and in 2013 the event raised a whopping £2796.15 for McMillan. This year, they hope to smash it again.
