Designer food at the Hello Kitty Cafe

In Japan, a pop up cafe is serving Hello Kitty-themed treats for fans of the adorable cartoon feline. 

Sure, hardcore Hello Kitty fans can rattle off a list of related attractions around the world, and certainly in Japan the craze is nothing new. But in this Hello Kitty Cafe, all the food and drinks served are shaped or adorned like the cat. Located inside Tokyo’s Parco department store, the character-themed cafe features a wide range of treats that are too cute to eat, including cake pops, sandwiches, rice dishes and even lattes!

Kitty Sandwich For Lunch

We bet it’s tasty, but could you actually sink your teeth into this sandwich? Perfectly adorned with Kitty White’s face, trademark bow and matching veggies, it’s a well-balanced and adorable lunch.

Say ‘Hello’ To Apple Pie

Placed on top of a tartan kitty mat, this Hello Kitty apple pie has a fresh raspberry bow and what looks like a side of custard or creme fraiche in a kitty mug.

Colourful Cat Dish

This gourmet-looking dessert is presented in a fashion you’d expect from any high-end restaurant, complete with a plate decorated in different taste and colour sensations.

Kitty Cake Pops

Adorned with Christmas trees, sprinkles, bows and the cartoon character’s face – which is just as sweet as these treats from the Hello Kitty Cafe!
