Vote for Aron

We’re very happy to announce that our Co-founder Aron Priest has been nominated to be recognised for PrintWeek’s ‘Power 100’, an industry-recognised ranking to highlight the most influential individuals and leaders within the print trade. Aron was overwhelmed with the amount of support he received last year in making the list. As well as helping him reach the top 100 last year, we’re all extremely grateful for the constant support from our customers, employees and community every single year. Your votes and valuable input help Solopress and Aron remain influential in the UK print market.

If you’d like to share your support for Aron, you can vote for him here and be in with a chance to win a £100 John Lewis voucher courtesy of the organisers, PrintWeek.

Who is Aron?

For those of you who don’t know Aron, he co-founded Solopress alongside Andy Smith in 1999. They created Solopress on the foundations of fast turnarounds and affordable full-colour printing, which was nearly unheard of at the time and it’s still mostly the case even today, 19 years on! Each year these values propelled Solopress and our customers to great new heights, enabling people and businesses to order print on tighter deadlines and smaller budgets. This was a big part of Aron’s vision and fast-forward to today, these early innovations have made Solopress one of the biggest UK printers, recently becoming a part of Onlineprinters, a large player in the B2B Europe printing market. With all of the continued growth, Aron’s values have not changed, remaining true to his business-friendly approach.

As well as rapidly shaking up the print industry, Aron has always been a keen fundraiser. He’s an avid supporter of a local charity called SNAP (Special Needs and Parents), a charity who supports children with disabilities and provide parents with help and support. Aron is particularly fond of the work they do as he’s seen firsthand the amount of work and effort they put into supporting families. As well as this he’s also helped many other charities in numerous cross-country bike rides, marathons and fundraisers such as wearing pink for breast cancer awareness.

Aron is also very committed to helping other businesses grow. This year he’s participated in industry talks to explain how he has grown Solopress and how others could learn from his highs and lows and apply them to their own business growth.
