About the Echo Essex Countywide Business Awards:
Celebrating Business Success in Essex, Newsquest’s Essex Business Awards have been established for 18 years and attract a phenomenal number of entrants from a broad selection of businesses across the county every year. The awards recognise the efforts for companies who have one thing in common, the dedication to achieve excellence. Looking for the best businesses in Essex – in such categories as ‘Customer Service’, ‘Environmental Awareness’ and ‘Young Entrepreneur of the Year’ – the judges carried out a field visit to all the finalists last month. Along with Solopress, past winners have included Colchester Zoo, Lords Golf & Country Club and Southend Adult Community College. The Essex Countywide Awards 2012 culminated in a black tie presentation dinner dance held at the Cliffs Pavilion in Southend-on-Sea, on the evening of Friday May 18, where the winners were announced and joyfully received their awards.
