Anchor Inn Beer Festival

Perfect for Father’s Day – treat pops to the Anchor Inn’s annual beer festival. Dad can sip happily on cask ales, listen to live music and munch out on roast beef and roast pork belly.
The Anchor Inn has stunning views overlooking ‘The Stour Valley’ river (aka Dedham Vale) and boasting a pretty beer garden. You can also walk off a belly full of beer and beef on the natural footpaths alongside the river.
The Gibberd Garden Beer Festival

This beer festival is perfect for someone looking for a quiet drink surrounded by beautiful views.
The Gibberd Garden will have over 35 beers, supplied by small, local and craft breweries from around East Anglia and London for you to dip your tastebuds into. For the cider inclined, there will also be a selection of real cider and perry.
Two, fair-sized marquees will be there ‘in case the Great British Summer delivers a bit of rain‘.
Kids can be entertained by a free children’s treasure hunt, enjoy a story by a qualified children’s storyteller and a multitude of games.
The pub is a perfect location for a wander, as the gardens are dotted with pretty pots, artefacts and flowers.
The Horse And Groom Beer Festival

Ye Olde Marvellous Medieval Ale Festival charity event in aid of cystic fibrosis, multiple sclerosis and the Ethan Linwood Memorial Fund, wishes to raise money with their live music, real ales and ciders tent, hog roast, BBQ and much more.
Medieval activities will include dancing, falcon display, re-enactments and archery.
The pub itself was built in the 18th century, has oak beams and offers a tasty menu of steak, beer batter cod and chips, trio of cumberland sausages and homemade steak and ale pies.
Billericay Town Football Club’s Beer Festival
Blunts Wall Rd, Billericay, Essex CM12 9SA
Friday 27th June 2014 – Sunday 29th June 2014
Each year the festival grows in popularity and this year sees over 20 local businesses getting involved in the action. Punters can expect over 50 real ales, ciders and perries to try and a friendly, local atmosphere.
Professionally catered food from The Burstead Golf Club and The Cheese And Pie Man – from burgers to salad is at hand for those who built up an appetite from their thirsty work.
Participants can also expect an array of live music to keep entertained and drinking till dawn.
The Hurdlemakers Arms Beer Festival

Friday 27th June 2014 – Sunday 29th June 2014
Winner of the Maldon and Dengie CAMRA Real Ale Pub of the Year award is The Hurdlemakers Arms pub. Typically British and bursting with character, expect an entire weekend full of greatness.
There will be over 25 real ales and 6 real ciders to hand.
In case the Heaven’s open up, there’s a marquee at hand that sits comfortably over 100 people in their large beer garden.
The pub is over 400 years old – find old images of the pub inside throughout its time.
