Gravity and 12 Years A Slave are dominating this year’s BAFTA nominations, but which of the front runners would YOU pick as having the best movie poster too?
The British Academy Film Awards for 2014, the plucky London precursor to March’s blockbuster Oscars event in Los Angeles, take place next month at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.
Gravity has received 11 BAFTA nominations this year. 12 Years a Slave and American Hustle are each nominated in ten categories. Captain Phillips has nine nominations. Behind the Candelabra and Saving Mr. Banks are both nominated five times. While Philomena, Rush and The Wolf of Wall Street have four nominations. Unsurprisingly, box office flops The Fifth Estate and Bullet to the Head managed a grand total of zero nominations.
As we all wait for the star-studded BAFTA ceremony itself, take your pick of the best movie posters from this shortlist.

The Wolf of Wall Street movie trailer on YouTube:
I can see why people think the poster for 12 years a slave is so popular. It could have been very elaborate but instead it is understated but powerful. Cracking job.
i’d have to say the wolf of wall street as it makes the movie look like it would be a fun watch
The poster, though mainly the cast of American Hustle would make me want to watch.
For me id have to say Gravity, as its the only poster that makes me want to watch the film. Others look nice but that’s it.
